Practising our typing skills

With an increasing use of technology in our classrooms and the one to one laptops in Year 6, we would like to offer the girls an opportunity to develop good typing habits.

BBC offers a fun way to learn touch typing and develop speed and accuracy through playing games.

We would like to offer a 25-minute session each week in the Year 6 classrooms, for the girls to practise their typing.

Please indicate your interest in your daughter attending a BBC Dance Mat Typing session in the Year 6 classrooms, by replying to this post by Wednesday, Week 6.

The lesson will begin at 7.45am and finish at 8.10am.

Please indicate your preference for either a Tuesday or Wednesday morning and please note that whichever morning receives the most interest will be chosen.

You can visit the link below to see the program called Dance Mat Typing.
